We love our city and participating in local charity events and supporting and promoting other local businesses is very important to us personally and as a business. We also firmly believe, however, that social responsibility begins with our own team.
We employ based on skill level and work ethic, not ethnicity or gender. We respect and accommodate the individual needs of our employees pertaining to areas such as religion.
We believe in providing a fair wage and all of our employees are enrolled in our health/life insurance benefits plan since their wellbeing and peace of mind are important.
We believe in the health of our team, both physical and mental. We promote physical health by encouraging an active lifestyle, and are sensitive to mental health needs as they arise.
As our business grows we look forward to being able to extend our own shop community and contribute even more to our community of Edmonton.
We hire within Edmonton and contribute to Edmonton employment. We chose to purchase supplies and parts from Edmonton companies.
We maintain a close relationship with NAIT. This involves taking a pre-employment student from their autobody program every six months and mentoring them within the shop.
Our apprentices are sent to the Skills Competition and our owners are involved in the judging of this event.
We also have tried to encourage charity in our employees by signing up our team "Track and Shield" for local charity runs and preparing and delivering Holiday Hampers at Christmas.
Come and see for yourself. When you bring your car to us for repair, we’ll treat you with respect and dignity. We won’t worry you with unnecessary expenses.
We have strict policies for hazardous material disposal. We use methods that reuse instead of replace when possible such as paintless dent removal. We also purchase recycled materials that still meet our quality standards. We use water based paint which is the most environmentally responsible auto body paint. We have a recycling program in the shop so that all plastic, metal and cardboard is recycled if possible. We have a state-of-the-art filtration system for our paint booth to remove any pollutants that could otherwise be hazardous to the environment.
